Are those prices shipped? Will you have to pay shipping?

I think the Fiocchi is high at 44 cents a round, it is available online for 39 cents a round

The Bear is high as well, also I don't like it...it is a lower quality than Wolf. How high depends on if it is Brown Bear or Silver Bear, neither are great ammo. The price you quote is 55 cents a round, Brown averages about 38 cents and silver about 43 cents. You can get 1990's NATO production from W Germany for 56 cents a round delivered from ammoman.com

By Winchester I am assuming it is USA FMJ, at 37 cents a round that is not too bad...about the same as the lowest I have seen on line but you can find good 9mm from Wolf for 19 cents a round.

Try using this search engine....

Brown, Silver, and Golden Bear are made by Barnaul in Russia. The Brown Bear is about on par with Wolf(although it doesn't stink like Wolf), but the Silver Bear is supposed to be pretty accurate. I'm told the Golden Bear is even nicer, but I've never tried it. I'm going to order myself some SB softpoints in .308 soon to get some practice in before deer season.

For .223, this is about the best I've seen:

$389/1K shipped for M193.

Re: How good are these ammo prices??

I shoot Wolf, Silver Bear, and Brown Bear exclusively in my Saigas (308 and 223) with very good results. In fact, that is why I bought the Saigas in the first place. My favorite load for Saiga 308 is the Silver Bear 140 Soft Point.

BTW, I would not recommend any steel cased rifle ammo for anything other than Kalashnikovs.

The price on the ammo is okay...
